- 1) Candidates must hold a doctoral degree.
- 2) Candidates must have internal academic experience. To meet this requirement, candidates must demonstrate that they have carried out academic activities at a foreign institution during their doctoral studies or postdoctoral training, for a total duration of at least one year (academic stays of two months or more count towards this total). Alternatively, they must have prepared and defended their doctoral thesis at a foreign university. The winning candidate can only join the Serra Húnter Programme if they meet this requirement.
- 3) Candidates must not have held previous contracts as an assistant professor (professor ajudant doctoral or equivalent category) at a Spanish university for more than three (3) years (or the proportional period, in the case of candidates with recognized disabilities).
Specific Requirements
- 1) A copy of their Spanish identity card (DNI) or passport or, for foreign applicants, a copy of their Spanish residency document (NIE) or identity card.
- 2) A copy of their doctoral degree certificate or official confirmation of the request for its issue.
- 3) Full CV, using the template provided for the Serra Húnter Programme (maximum 15 pages).
- 4) A document stating the candidate's five most significant academic achievements (articles, books, patents, etc...) using the template provided.
- 5) A brief description of their teaching career (maximum 1 page), using the template provided.
- 6) A short description of the candidate's teaching and research interests, which should fall within the scope of the contract offered for the next six (6) years. This should be no more than six (6) pages in length and must be completed using the template provided.
- 7) Accreditation of international academic activity, using the template provided.
