Senior Full‐Stack Software Engineer
Main Responsibilities
- Design, build, and operate modern web applications supporting scientific and AI workflows, including frontend user interfaces, backend services, and data integrations.
- Develop rich, high‐performance data visualization experiences such as dashboards, exploratory analytics, and interactive visual components to support scientific interpretation.
- Build and maintain secure and scalable RESTful and/or GraphQL backend services, integrating internal systems, databases, and external APIs.
- Work closely with data scientists and domain experts to integrate ML/AI components, model inference pipelines, and data processing workflows into user‐facing products.
- Apply software engineering best practices including automated testing, code reviews, CI/CD, documentation, containerization, and monitoring.
- Collaborate in cross‐functional, research‐driven environments to transform high‐level scientific and business requirements into robust, scalable, and user‐friendly solutions.
Nice to Have
- Experience designing advanced scientific visualizations (multi‐dimensional data, temporal or spatial visualizations, imaging, omics) and conducting UX research with scientific stakeholders.
- Experience integrating applications with data platforms such as Databricks or Snowflake.
- Familiarity with ML/AI deployment patterns, including working with model endpoints (SageMaker, Vertex, MLflow), feature stores, or retrieval/search architectures.
- Polyglot programming experience (Go, Rust, Java) for performance‐critical components.
- Exposure to scientific datasets (omics, imaging, clinical, preclinical) and understanding of associated standards, governance, and privacy considerations. xqysrnh
