Alphega aims to be Europe's leading network of independent pharmacies, differentiating itself through excellence. Reporting to the Alphega Regional Director, the role involves collaborating with the leadership team, divisional colleagues, and country teams to enhance the pharmacy network and sales operations.
Key Responsibilities
1. Develop plans to transition approved projects into ongoing operations.
2. Provide regular performance reports on efficiency and effectiveness metrics.
3. Evaluate and optimize in-store processes to improve sales force efficiency, utilizing Salesforce B2B CRM.
4. Expand deployment across markets, maintaining Spain as a center of excellence.
5. Create technological assets to improve pharmacy operations and customer experience.
6. Ensure smooth transition of new services from pilot to regular operations, sharing best practices.
7. Adapt quickly to new e-health services and models, supporting country teams.
8. Assess marketing campaign execution, focusing on ROI and identifying opportunities and risks.
9. Manage categories effectively across markets using performance metrics and visual data.
10. Establish and promote standard operating procedures for network excellence.
11. Use CRM and data analytics for insights into strengths and areas for improvement.
12. Ensure compliance with AB regulations and address any weaknesses.
13. Foster clear communication between central and country teams to reduce ambiguity.
14. Monitor country operations regularly and escalate concerns as needed.
15. Facilitate idea sharing and cost reduction initiatives with AB and GNP partners.
This approach aims to boost operational efficiency, drive growth, and deliver high-quality consumer experiences across Alphega’s network.
The ideal candidate will have strong skills in managing large international networks and leading transformational change.
Requirements
* Spend about 80% of time working virtually with country teams to understand markets and develop delivery plans.
* Use data to drive operational improvements and establish expertise in operational excellence.
* Demonstrate attention to detail and a passion for excellence, translating insights into actionable strategies.
* Experience:
* Minimum 10 years in multi-site international pharmacy, pharmaceuticals, or FMCG, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
* Strong understanding of pharmacy and healthcare services.
* Proven ability to lead and inspire transformation strategies across countries and divisions.
* Operational experience in complex roles focused on continuous improvement and change management.
* Fluent in English; proficiency in Spanish or French is preferred.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
* Strong cultural awareness and passion for people.
Educational Background
* Extensive knowledge of network operations in pharmaceutical or FMCG sectors, with experience in multi-site international markets.
This role requires hands-on experience, retail expertise, and excellent execution skills, suitable for candidates capable of navigating complex environments and fostering collaboration for continuous improvement.
