The Genetics, Molecular Pathology and Rare Diseases Research Group at UCAM is seeking a highly motivated predoctoral researcher to join an ambitious project at the interface of basic research and hospital-based pathology.
You will join the research line in vitro and ex vivo tumor modeling, contributing to the project: “FSCN1 as a structural modulator of the cytoskeleton in T-cell lymphomas: molecular and functional bases.”
This project combines molecular biology, cancer pathology and translational research, with direct interaction with clinical samples and hospital professionals.
Candidate Profile
We are looking for a candidate with strong scientific curiosity, commitment, and a clear interest in pursuing a research career.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, or a related field.
- Master’s degree in a relevant area.
- GPA = 8/10 (or equivalent).
- English level B2–C1.
- Valid driving license (mainly based at UCAM HiTech, with occasional work at Santa Lucía Hospital, Cartagena).
- Willingness to undertake an international research stay.
Highly desirable:
- Training or experience in Bioinformatics (Master’s degree, courses, or equivalent).
