Business Information Security Specialist
Summary of the role:
The Business Information Security Specialist supports the Business Unit Security Team (Cytric Solutions - CYT) in implementing global information security and privacy policies. Assists in monitoring and improving the business unit's compliance with corporate and unit-specific information security and data privacy policies, standards, and regulations.
In this role you will:
* Follow existing procedures or guidelines and provide input to support decision-making.
* Recommend new solutions and propose improvements based on analysis of various information sources.
* Work with moderate guidance from the manager.
* Support Amadeus internal information security processes across the global network.
* Assist with ad-hoc security projects, including collaboration with external partners.
* Develop and support internal security measures and reporting globally and locally.
About the ideal Candidate:
* Proven experience in PCI-DSS compliance (e.g., v4.0), Risk Assessment, and Security Audits.
* Technical/functional expertise in information security.
* Knowledge of international security and data privacy frameworks (ISO, SOC, NIST, GDPR).
* Experience with agile frameworks (e.g., SAFe, Scrum).
* Experience analyzing and implementing security requirements.
* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; a degree in Information Security is a plus.
* 1-2 years of experience in a security-related role.
* Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to team development.
* Willingness to learn and specialize further in security and privacy.
* Proficiency in English; knowledge of German or French is advantageous.
