About The Role
The Sales Training Lead will play a key role in how Moodle builds the skills and confidence of its global Sales and Partner teams. Reporting to the Director of Sales Enablement, you’ll design and deliver training that helps our teams uncover customer needs, tell compelling stories, deliver stronger demos, and close with confidence. You will also oversee product training and qualifications, bringing these areas together into a connected, scalable learning framework that supports both internal teams and external audiences.
This is a new role, ideal for a self-starter who enjoys building and improving programs. We’re looking for someone with solid commercial awareness, proven sales enablement or training experience, and excellent stakeholder management skills — someone who thrives in a collaborative environment and knows how to make learning practical, engaging, and results‑driven.
This role is open to candidates within Europe (UK, Spain, Portugal, Netherlands, Serbia, Poland, Hungary etc)
What You’ll Do
* Translate enablement priorities into a clear, data‑driven sales training roadmap
* Build structured, role‑based learning pathways aligned with business goals
* Design applied modules on discovery, storytelling, demo excellence, and objection handling
* Create qualification programs and assessments to validate sales and partner readiness
* Oversee Product Training and Qualifications to ensure alignment, quality, and scalability
* Embed enablement into onboarding, ramp‑up, and continuous development for global Sales and Partner teams
* Partner with Sales, Product, Marketing, and Partnerships to align learning content and messaging
* Measure impact through key metrics such as time‑to‑productivity, win rates, and readiness scores
* Lead and coach a small team of enablement, product, and learning design specialists
Requirements
* 5+ years in Sales Training, Sales Enablement, or Commercial L&D within a SaaS or B2B environment, or equivalent experience in sales or account management with a strong coaching focus
* Proven success designing and delivering programs that improved sales performance
* Strong instructional design background, particularly in applied, scenario‑based learning
* Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills across Sales, Product, Marketing, and Partnerships
* Experience leading or mentoring a small team and setting clear delivery standards
* Data‑driven mindset, with a focus on connecting training impact to measurable results
Bonus points
* Familiarity with Moodle Workplace or other enterprise LMS platforms
* Experience in Partner Enablement or commercialising training programs
* Ability to localise and scale programs for global audiences
* Multilingual skills to support Moodle's international learner base
