As the Director of Technology Architecture and Design in Madrid, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the hands-on architecture of scalable, secure, and future-ready technological solutions that directly impact health outcomes globally. What You’ll Do
* Partner closely with business leaders across operations, quality, regulatory, commercial, and finance to understand their needs and craft innovative, pragmatic technical solutions aligned with strategic business goals.
* Lead the hands-on design of technology solutions, ensuring systems, data, integrations, and platforms cohere into a unified, resilient architecture.
* Manage end-to-end solution design, balancing immediate delivery needs with long-term strategic direction.
* Present complex architecture ideas and solution options clearly and persuasively to both technical and non-technical audiences, including senior leadership.
* Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to accelerate project delivery and foster innovation.
* Assess trade-offs, risks, and dependencies across solutions, providing transparent insights to support confident decision-making.
* Build, guide, and inspire a high-performing team of architects and analysts, instilling a culture of curiosity, innovation, and continuous learning.
* Contribute to strategic planning, budgeting, and the development of a modern and adaptable technology landscape.

Required Skills & Qualification's
* Extensive experience leading Solution Architecture or solution design in complex, multi-project global environments (20+ projects).
* Proven expertise in designing platforms such as transportation management, warehouse management, IoT/visibility, customer solutions, and enterprise CRM (e.g., Salesforce).
* Strong skills in applications, data architecture, integrations, and security frameworks.
* Hands-on experience creating detailed solution designs and presenting those architectures effectively to diverse audiences.
* Familiarity with various delivery methodologies, including Waterfall, Agile, and Scrum.
* Experience working within regulated or operationally critical sectors.
* Excellent business analysis capabilities, with a talent for shaping demand and defining clear scope.
