Barcelona office (hybrid)
Schedule: Full-time
Experience: 1–2 years in pharma BD, sales, portfolio, or related roles preferred
METLY is building the intelligence layer for pharmaceutical business development. Our platform helps pharma companies worldwide discover the right products, evaluate opportunities, and connect with the right partners faster and smarter. We are a VC-backed company scaling globally and transforming how business development happens in pharma.

We’re looking for a Business Development & Pharma Portfolio Associate who will play a key role in both managing our product database and driving commercial growth. You’ll take ownership of keeping our pharma product and partner information accurate and up-to-date while building strong relationships with sellers and licensing partners.
This role is ideal for someone with experience in pharma business development or licensing who wants to broaden their impact, take on varied responsibilities, and contribute to a fast-moving startup shaping the future of pharma BD.

Own and maintain the internal pharma product database, ensuring it is structured, accurate, and up-to-date
Identify and close new commercial opportunities with pharma companies worldwide
1–2 years of experience in business development, licensing, sales, or portfolio in the pharmaceutical industry (preferred)
~ Strong understanding of licensing and commercial deal processes in pharma
~ Interest and skill in organising and managing structured data
~ Fluent in English
~ Based in Barcelona or willing to relocate (hybrid work model)
~ Meaningful ownership and direct impact on how pharma companies discover and evaluate products
Hybrid work model with a desk in our Barcelona office
Close collaboration with experienced founders in pharma, technology, and startups

Exposure to a global network of pharmaceutical clients and partners.
