Trade Finance Graduate — Ebury León — 4 days in the office and 1 day working from home. This role is based in our Global Operations Centre and requires participation in a shift pattern rotation to cover our global operations across all timezones.
Responsibilities
* Processing of new Trade Finance (TF) requests promptly and efficiently to facilitate the trade process
* Carrying out appropriate due diligence checks on transactions in line with AML, TBML, Fraud, Risk and Sanctions policies and escalating where required
* Conduct Screening on TF transactions and ensure alerts are reviewed and discounted appropriately, following company policies and procedures
* Provide a high level of customer service to clients, acting on their instructions in accordance with internal procedures and responding in a timely manner
* Complete tasks allocated by the line manager with focus and in a timely manner
* Communicate the status of tasks to colleagues, supervisors and managers, and escalate problems swiftly as needed
* Take ownership of client issues and remain accountable through to completion
* Act as a stakeholder between departments to ensure smooth processing of client trade
* Ensure all transactions processed are in accordance with internal policies, processes and procedures
Requirements
* Proactive, with the ability to work within strict time-frames and under pressure
* Diligent, with excellent attention to detail
* Numerate with an analytical mind and strong problem solving skills
* Effective research skills with an ability to find solutions independently
* Fast learning with the ability to multitask and prioritise workload appropriately
* Good communication skills, both written and verbal
* Co-operative, and comfortable working in a team environment
* Curious and eager to learn, and actively asks questions to confirm understanding of processes and procedures
* Motivated, with a desire to make Ebury a success
* Must be fluent in English and Spanish;
fluency in another language is an advantage
