Responsibilities
* Development of the product data solutions (e.g. web-based applications, RESTful APIs, data-flow pipelines) using the micro-service and message-driven architecture approaches
* Establish data integration from on-prem to the cloud as well as from external sources to the MediaMarktSaturn systems landscape
* Implement end-to-end cloud native monitoring and alerting frameworks
* Make use of serverless and stateless computing solutions (e.g. Cloud Functions, Cloud Run in GCP)
* Assume end-to-end responsibility from requirements refinement with business stakeholders, creation of the technical concept to the implementation and continuous improvement of the solution
* Drive technology innovation in the product data area
Your Tasks

Your Profile
* University degree in computer science, mathematics, physics, engineering, business information systems or similar qualification
* Several years of experience using Java, Spring Boot in developing backend solutions
* Hands-on experience in software development
* Practical experience in building large-scale, distributed software applications using resilience patterns in microservice architectures and RESTful API design
* Knowledge of SQL- and NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MongoDB
* Knowledge of quality assurance and testing methods
* Expertise in building microservice solutions on cloud (preferable GCP) technology is a plus
* Experience in data management, especially product data management in the retail industry is a plus
