Responsibilities
* Responsible for the sourcing of the portfolio entrusted, being specialist in the markets with a competitive advantage and continuous improvement by minimizing spend.
* Perform global internal and external analysis, generate local opportunity proposals and provide input into global opportunity assessment.
* Define, leads and implement successfully global purchasing strategies and / or action plans by category and execute and / or supervise negotiations with suppliers about price, quality and delivery conditions of materials.
* Mobilizes the business to implement category plans.
* Provide the company with a competitive advantage
* Reports and explains negotiation results and impact within the company.
* Feedstock and market assumptions translated into annual budget and quarterly reforecast of portfolio spend.
* Ensure up-to-date and correct purchasing data and related information in the information systems.
* Build on and develop the supply base to ensure the capacity and flexibility to meet all of the organizationsrequirements.
* Manage suppliers professionally and proactively to ensure a high level of supplier performance.
* Ensures the legal framework and codes and guidelines are applied in tenders, negotiations and contracts.
* Leads resolution of any escalation of issues with supplier.
* Sets key performance indicators.
* Engage and influence stakeholders.
Qualifications
* University degree in business, finance, commercial, economics or engineering
* 5-6 years in FMCG in a Procurement role
* A proven ability to lead and execute strategic sourcing initiatives, directly linked to COGs and / or overhead budgets and success in getting projects implemented.
* Experience within global, multicultural organizations and proven ability to lead and work effectively with people from different cultures and in various cross functional teams.
* Computer literacy in SAP and Microsoft Office
* High English level (spoken and written)
* Analytical skills
* Proactive in identifying and solving problems
* Ability to work autonomously across a variety of projects and work under pressure.
* Excellent project management skills and ability to prioritize tasks and projects.
* A drive for continuous professional development in self and others
