About the role
We are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer with strong experience in PTC Creo and Windchill PLM environments, ideally within industrial machinery or capital equipment sectors.
You will be responsible for designing, developing, and improving mechanical components and assemblies, ensuring compliance with customer specifications, manufacturability, and product performance standards.
You will also work closely with engineering and manufacturing teams, contributing to product optimization and lifecycle improvements within a PLM-managed environment.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop mechanical components and assemblies using PTC Creo
- Manage engineering data and product structures within Windchill PLM / PDMLink
- Interpret customer requirements and transform them into detailed technical designs
- Perform feasibility analysis of mechanical designs and propose improvements
- Support product validation, testing, and design verification activities
- Investigate product issues and implement corrective design actions
- Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and engineering teams
- Ensure compliance with industrial standards and internal design guidelines
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- 5+ years of experience in mechanical design (industrial machinery preferred)
- Strong proficiency in PTC Creo Parametric
- Experience working with Windchill / PLM systems (PDMLink desirable)
- Solid understanding of mechanical systems, materials, and manufacturing processes
- Experience in capital goods, machinery, or industrial equipment is highly valued
- Problem-solving mindset and attention to engineering detail
