About the role
El Altillo International School is seeking a qualified and experienced English Teacher for Secondary & Baccalaureate students.
Applicants must have experience in teaching English and preparing for official Cambridge and Trinity exams. Applicants must be excited by the challenge of contributing to curriculum development.
The successful applicant will be an accomplished teacher with experience, enthusiasm and a passion for teaching which will inspire our students. They will also understand the importance of being part of a pedagogical team.

Main responsibilities
* Plan, prepare and deliver lessons to up to students following our curriculum
* Review lessons and resources regularly to ensure they provide maximum engagement and clear opportunities for pupils to develop key linguistic skills and processes
* Prepare and set tests, including a baseline assessment test at the beginning of the course
* Be responsible for the learning and achievement of all pupils in their class ensuring equality of opportunity for all students
* Be responsible and accountable for achieving the highest possible standards in work and conduct
* Treat pupils with dignity, building relationships rooted in mutual respect, and at all times observing proper boundaries appropriate to a teacher’s professional position
* Work proactively and effectively in collaboration and partnership with learners, parents/carers, other staff and external agencies in the best interests of pupils
* Take responsibility for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children and young people within the school
* Any other responsibilities as requested by the pedagogical department
About You
Qualifications & Experience
* Proficient in all aspect of English language.
* Be dynamic and have an interactive approach.
* Delivered lessons purely in the target language.
* Multicultural experience.
