What You´ll Do:
As a Fraud Investigation Specialist, you´ll play a key role in detecting, analyzing, and resolving potential fraud cases to keep our marketplace safe and trusted.
Your day-to-day will include:
- Investigating and verifying suspicious or high-risk activity using advanced internal tools and clear processes.
- Reviewing customer-submitted documents and validating authenticity with accuracy and discretion.
- Managing and resolving fraud cases within strict timelines, ensuring timely and fair outcomes.
- Tracking pending documentation and following up with customers as needed.
- Maintaining precise records and adhering to internal SLAs and compliance standards.
- Communicating professionally with customers and internal teams, even in sensitive or escalated situations.
- Identifying patterns, sharing insights, and helping improve fraud prevention workflows.
What You Bring:
We´re looking for someone who is analytical, proactive, and confident in making data-driven decisions.
You´ll be a great fit if you:
- Speak German at C1 level and English fluently.
- Have 6+ months of experience in fraud prevention, risk analysis, or back-office support in a digital marketplace environment.
- Consistently meet KPIs and bring a high level of accuracy to your work.
- Have excellent communication skills, empathy, and adaptability especially under pressure.
- Are comfortable with OS-level systems (iOS, Android, Windows) and operational tools like CRMs or tracking platforms.
- Work autonomously, think critically, and always aim for root-cause solutions.
- Are dependable, punctual, and maintain strong professional ethics.
