The EMEA Energy and Water team is looking for a Water Infrastructure Manager to support scaling and growth across our Data Centre network. If you enjoy driving the development, implementation, and construction of new water infrastructure, this role offers a great opportunity. Your work will help deliver large-scale water projects and water infrastructure projects essential for our infrastructure to operate renewably and strategically.
This role is available in Madrid, Zaragoza, London, Frankfurt, and Dublin.

Key job responsibilities
* Manage design consultants, contractual drafting, and develop project requirements, budgets, and schedules.
* Oversee remote project delivery teams from design through construction, facilitating technical troubleshooting and removing barriers to success.
* Multitask and re-prioritize effectively based on changing business needs.
* Build and maintain project budgets, and submit Capital Allocation Requests to senior leadership.
* Prepare investment and business case documents to secure funding for water reinforcement projects.
A day in the life
* Engage with regulators and external stakeholders such as water utilities, environmental agencies, health departments, and contractors.
* Utilize project management tools throughout all project phases.
* Report regularly to senior leadership on project metrics and progress.
* Ensure compliance with construction standards and national regulations.
* Create detailed plans for scalable, future-proof water infrastructure.

Minimum qualifications
* Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Civil Engineering, Economics, or Business.
* 10+ years of experience delivering water infrastructure and engineering solutions for capital-intensive projects across various industries.
* Fluency in Spanish and English.
* 3+ years of experience with utility tariffs, water projects, and contracts analysis.
* 3+ years managing project scope, business cases, infrastructure requirements, and contract documentation.
Preferred qualifications
* 7+ years of experience with water infrastructure construction, operation, or maintenance globally.
* Advanced degree in relevant engineering or environmental fields.
* Experience with fast-track design/build projects and multiple stakeholder management.
* Analytical skills to identify gaps and provide recommendations under limited information.
* Business experience in Europe, LATAM, or the Middle East.
* 5+ years in program management, risk mitigation, and reporting.
