Job Summary
Join our expanding Data Delivery team and take on new challenges to support strategic projects focused on data. We have a roadmap of new products to support our clients and hotels in recovery. You will experience real responsibility from day one, working as part of our global teams, and benefit from working with some great data sets that we have already developed via our cloud data platform.
Job Responsabilities
- Lead and mentor a cross-functional team of ML and Data Engineers, coordinate their day-a-day tasks and facilitate Agile ceremonies.
- Drive the technical roadmap for ML initiatives, ensuring scalability, performance, and maintainability.
- Provide expertice in design, development and deployment of a ML platform within the company.
- Evaluate and recommend tools, frameworks, and platforms to support the team’s evolving needs.
- Provide hands-on guidance in the design, development, and deployment of ML models and data pipelines. Identify skill gaps and provide opportunities for upskilling through training, mentoring, and peer learning. Implement processes for continuous improvement and performance tracking of ML models in production.
- Establish best practices for model validation, monitoring, and retraining to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Work closely with product managers, business analysts, and domain experts to translate business needs into ML solutions.
- Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and actionable manner.
- Ensure timely delivery of high-quality solutions aligned with business goals.
Technical Skills required
- Machine Learning & Deep Learning :
Strong knowledge of different platforms and architectures, including experience with algorithms, model training, evaluation, and deployment. This is experience is a must.
- Programming :
Proficiency in Python, and familiarity with ML libraries like TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn. This experience is a must.
- Data Engineering :
Understanding of data pipelines, ETL processes, and tools like Airflow, Kafka... This experience is a must.
- MLOps & DevOps :
Experience with CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, and model monitoring in productio. This experience is a must.
- Cloud Platforms :
Familiarity with AWS, GCP, or Azure for scalable ML infrastructure.
- Follow and implement tool best practices. This experience is a must.
- Strong foundation in mathematics, statistics, and algorithm design.
Soft skills required
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions and communicate results effectively to non-technical audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor technical teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
- Ability to evaluate trade-offs between model complexity, performance, and business impact.
- High quality written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams while maintaining a high level of precision and quality in deliverables.
- Ability to think outside the box, multi-task and efficiently manage time.
- Experience in the tourism industry, experience working in hybrid-cloud environments (including AWS) and/or familiarity with Data Visualization tools as Tableau will be a plus.
