We are looking for a highly strategic and results-driven Head of Distribution / Business Development to lead our growth across markets, partners, and products.

Reporting directly to the CEO and working closely with the Executive Committee, you will lead a team of 3 people and own the strategy to expand distribution channels, diversify revenue streams, grow our offering, and unlock new markets.

This is a key leadership role for someone who combines strong tourism expertise, commercial sharpness, and hands‑on execution in a fast‑growing travel & e‑commerce environment.

Key Responsibilities
* Define and execute the distribution and business development strategy aligned with company growth
* Expand and optimise distribution channels, onboarding new partners and scaling existing ones
* Develop new revenue streams through strategic partnerships (e.g. insurance, advertising, sponsorships, audience monetisation)
* Grow and diversify the travel offering, integrating new inventory providers (hotels, bedbanks, activities, aggregators)
* Identify and launch new product categories and market opportunities, building strong business cases
* Lead, coach, and develop a high‑performing BD team
* Work cross‑functionally with Marketing, Product, Tech, Sales, and Operations
* Represent Weekendesk with key partners and at industry events
What we’re looking for
* 8+ years of experience in Business Development, Distribution, or Strategic Partnerships
* Strong background in tourism / hospitality (OTA, travel tech, hotel groups, marketplaces, bedbanks, tour operators)
* Proven track record of closing complex, high‑impact deals
* Experience leading teams and working closely with C‑level stakeholders
* Strategic mindset combined with strong execution and analytical skills
* Comfortable operating in fast‑paced, scaling environments
* Fluent English, high proficiency in French (Spanish is a plus!)
