🚀 We are hiring an IT Event Manager
At NTT DATA, we are seeking an experienced IT Event Manager to oversee the monitoring and management of IT events across our infrastructure and applications. This role is critical for ensuring service continuity, minimising disruptions, and proactively addressing incidents before they impact business operations.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and optimise IT event monitoring processes to ensure timely detection and resolution of issues.
* Define and maintain event management policies and procedures aligned with ITIL best practices.
* Collaborate with incident, problem, and change management teams to ensure seamless integration of event management activities.
* Analyse event data to identify trends, root causes, and opportunities for automation.
* Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance monitoring tools and processes.
* Provide regular reporting and dashboards on event management performance and KPIs.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business, or related field.
* Minimum 5 years of experience in IT Event Management or Monitoring.
* Strong understanding of ITIL v4.
* Experience with ITSM platforms (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira Service Management).
* Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
* Analytical mindset with attention to detail and process
