What you’ll do.
Supply Chain Operations and Projects:
7. Support Procure-to-Pay process for goods and services
8. Identify cost reductions and mitigate risks
9. Support vendor setup and contract closeout processes
10. Basic contract negotiations with stakeholder engagement
11. Support Contract Lifecycle Management
12. Support material expediting
13. Investigating receiving/invoicing discrepancies
Materials Management/Warehouse:
14. Create and maintain Request for Quotes for MRP replenishment items.
15. Support Contract Lifecycle Management
16. P-Card process management and reconciliation
17. Expediting purchases
18. Investigating receiving/invoicing discrepancies
19. Material analysis and data enhancement for Master Data support
20. Complete warehouse analysis and reporting on an ad hoc basis.
Who you are.
21. Available to begin work in September 2024
22. Legal authorization to work in the United States – Sponsorship for this role will not be provided.
23. As this position requires the operation of a motor vehicle, a valid US Driver's License is required.
24. Previous experience is considered an asset.
25. Strong attitude for carrying out all work in a safe, cautious manner while following safe work practices.
26. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Education
27. Pursuing an undergraduate degree in Supply Chain Management, or Business Administration
28. Preference will be given to students in 3rd or 4th year
29. Availability for multiple work terms is preferred
30. Strong academic performance
31. Ability to work 40 hours per week during the scheduled semester
32. Attached copies of transcripts
Working Conditions
33. May include frequency of travel, sitting, standing, computer work, lifting, driving, working at site, etc.
Safety Sensitive
34. This is a safety sensitive role and as such you will also be required to wear all Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) during required work hours. Furthermore, you will also be required to pass the Cenovus pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol assessment requirements.
35. Safety sensitive positions require the operation of a motor vehicle. A valid US Driver’s License with no restrictions is a requirement for this role.
