Do you want to be part of a Chinese company in Spain?
We are looking for a Chinese Cuisine Chef to lead the kitchen team of a Chinese company in Madrid. This position requires proven experience in traditional Chinese cooking, fluency in Mandarin, and a strong focus on culinary excellence.
- Reporting to the Executive Chef of B&I; and the Culinary Director of the company in Spain.
- Conduct culinary R&D; activities, exploring and selecting new Chinese suppliers and products.
- Ensure the highest standards of flavor, temperature, and presentation for Chinese cuisine.
- Maintain consistency and creativity in food display and preparation.
- Communicate with clients to adapt dishes to their specific preferences when necessary.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within high-end kitchens.
- Extensive knowledge of Chinese gastronomy across all regions, techniques, and concepts.
- Familiarity with HACCP standards and food safety regulations.
- Creativity, team leadership, schedule flexibility, and ability to work under pressure in dynamic environments.
- Meticulous attention to detail and strong capacity for innovation.
- Physical ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Knowledge of Spanish or English is preferred but not essential
- Permanent contract.
