Strategic Partner Account Manager (m/f/d) – Madrid, 40 hours/week – immediate start or as soon as possible.
This role will report directly to the Country Manager Iberia, LATAM, and Italy.
Overview
Join a dynamic, growing cybersecurity company and help expand Hornetsecurity’s brand presence in Spain by managing strategic partner relationships and driving business growth.
Responsibilities
* You will identify, manage, and continuously develop a strong network of Telcos, MSSPs, and Tier 1 partners across Spain, with a focus on strategic players such as Telefónica, Orange, and other key telecommunications providers.
* You will oversee the onboarding process of new partners and build long-term, successful business relationships.
* You will organize and coordinate both online and in-person training sessions for our partners, including product training, while ensuring the effective implementation of the Hornetsecurity Partner Program.
* You will define and drive business plans with partners, closely monitoring their growth and ensuring continuous strategic and commercial development.
* You will actively participate in industry events, fairs, and partner meetings, promoting our solutions and strengthening brand presence.
* You will create accurate sales forecasts and define actionable strategies to ensure business targets in Spain are achieved.
* Internally, you will collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Product Management. Externally, you will act as a key point of contact, representing the company with professionalism and expertise.
* You will regularly update our CRM system with relevant partner and deal information to ensure accurate tracking and reporting.
* Valuable knowledge and existing relationships within Telefónica, Orange, MSSP, Tier1 Partners, or other leading Telcos will be considered a strong asset for this role.
Requirements
* You have solid IT knowledge gained through your academic background or equivalent qualification—ideally in cybersecurity or cloud services.
* You have at least five years of professional experience in the IT sector and a strong understanding of complex IT solutions and business processes.
* Experience with enterprise sales methodologies such as MEDDIC, SPIN Selling, Miller Heiman is highly valued, especially in complex sales environments with multiple stakeholders.
* You have relevant experience managing strategic partners such as Telefónica, Orange, MSSPs in Spain, and have developed these relationships strategically and economically.
* You are an excellent communicator and interact confidently and professionally with partners and customers.
* You are willing to travel frequently (up to 50% of business days) and enjoy presenting and promoting Hornetsecurity’s solutions during customer meetings, partner sessions, and negotiations.
* You bring a winning personality and thrive in an international, fast-paced environment.
* You have at least a B2 level of English, both spoken and written.
* You are driven by your own achievements and pursue quarterly goals with passion and accountability.
* You are highly organized and know how to prioritize tasks to support the growth of the Hornetsecurity Group.
