We are seeking an experienced Senior Financial Analyst to join our Global Real Estate and Facilities (GREF) Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A;) team. This role will be responsible for leading and optimizing the financial planning and analysis processes for GREF, ensuring accurate cost distribution, driving financial transparency across the organization. This role will also support execution of global initiatives and improvements across the greater GREF landscape. This individual will work with integral business partners, local finance teams, accounting teams, and other internal and external stakeholders to deliver on these goals.
- Develop, implement, and continuously improve end-to-end financial planning and analysis processes, methodologies, and frameworks for GREF.
- Lead the design and execution of financial models that support accurate financial reporting and decision-making.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to align financial strategies with business objectives and growth plans.
- Own system integrations and data flow related to FP&A; processes.
- Stay current with industry best practices and integrate innovative approaches into GREF's financial planning and analysis methodologies.
- Oversee the production of high-quality financial reports and analyses related to GREF operations.
- Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of financial processes.
- Provide insights and recommendations based on financial data to support strategic decision-making.
- Lead monthly reviews of financial and operating metrics, analyze variances to forecast, and communicate key drivers to senior.
- Serve as the subject matter expert for IBM Cognos/TM1, FRAMES, and Spectra.
- Lead system enhancements, upgrades, and integrations for these platforms to support GREF's financial processes.
- Provide training and support to team members and stakeholders on the use of these systems for financial planning and reporting purposes.
Basic Qualifications
- 8+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience.
- 8+ years of multiple finance and accounting roles experience.
- 8+ years of Accounts Receivable or Account Payable experience.
- 8+ years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses experience.
- 8+ years of building financial and operational reports/data sets that inform business decision-making experience.
- 8+ years of creating process improvements with automation and analysis experience.
- 8+ years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experience.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, statistics or business, or Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of quantitative role (engineering, process re‑engineering, quality assurance) experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- 8+ years of identifying incomplete or inaccurate data, identifying the root cause and creating/implementing an escalation plan experience.
- 8+ years of solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely financial models, analysis, and recommendations that have a proven impact on business (e.g., financial savings, operational improvements, or customer benefits) experience.
- MBA, or CPA.
- Knowledge of SQL/ETL.
- Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards).
- Experience delivering forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis, and data interpretation of results.
