We are hiring a Data Center Engineering Operations Technician to join our expanding Infrastructure Operations team. This role involves hands-on troubleshooting and operation of electrical and mechanical equipment. If you enjoy applying your electrical and mechanical skills to solve problems, we'd like to meet you. Your work will help maintain one of the world's largest information system infrastructures.
Key responsibilities
As an Electrical Engineering Technician, you will ensure preventive maintenance of critical infrastructure is performed to the highest standards, following AWS procedures. Promoting a safety-first culture and adhering to safety procedures is essential.
This role requires frequent site interventions, critical switching activities, troubleshooting, and fixing infrastructure issues. You should enjoy working hands-on with Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) infrastructure such as diesel generators, MV/LV switchgear, UPSs, PDU, pumps, AHUs, fire detection systems, and building automation systems.
Daily tasks include operating and maintaining mechanical and electrical equipment in the data center, drafting and updating procedures, and maintaining technical documentation. Collaboration with internal and external stakeholders is vital to deliver operational excellence and ensure 100% uptime of customer infrastructure.

Qualifications
- Knowledge of electrical competencies and theory
- High school diploma or equivalent
- CFGS / FPII Electromechanical maintenance, power plants, electrical installations, renewable energies
- Experience in data center engineering
- Knowledge of capacity planning and reporting
- Ability to draft support procedures, compile documentation, and manage technical issues.
