About the Role
As a Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for expanding DRS’s footprint in the clinical trial sourcing market. You will identify and engage with pharmaceutical sponsors, CROs, and biotech companies to offer tailored sourcing solutions for comparators, co-medications, and hard-to-find products. Your role will be pivotal in translating clinical supply needs into commercial opportunities, driving revenue growth, and strengthening DRS’s position as a trusted sourcing partner, by leveraging our strong relationship with existing clients and accessing new logos.
Key Responsibilities
Client Acquisition & Relationship Management
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities with clinical trial sponsors, CROs, and procurement teams.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, understanding their sourcing challenges and offering strategic solutions.
- Lead client presentations, proposal development, and contract negotiations.
Market Intelligence & Strategy
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and regulatory changes to inform sales strategy.
- Collaborate with internal sourcing and operations teams to align client needs with supply capabilities.
- Provide feedback to product and sourcing teams to enhance service offerings.
Revenue Generation & Sales Performance
- Meet and exceed quarterly and annual sales targets.
- Develop and manage a pipeline of qualified leads using CRM tools.
- Create pricing strategies and commercial models in collaboration with finance and sourcing teams.
Compliance & Ethical Engagement
- Ensure all client engagements and proposals adhere to integral regulatory standards and ethical sourcing practices.
- Educate clients on compliance risks and DRS’s commitment to quality and traceability.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Business, or related field; advanced degree or certifications (MBA, APICS, CIPS) are a plus.
- Proven experience in sales, business development, or client-facing roles within clinical trials, pharma, or healthcare supply chain.
- Strong understanding of clinical trial sourcing, procurement, and regulatory environments.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- International exposure and ability to work across time zones and cultures.
- Results-driven, strategic thinker with a collaborative mindset.

Pay: 35,000.00€ - 45,000.00€ per year
