ROLE SUMMARY
Reporting to the Associate Manager in Spain, this role will serve as the primary contact for the Local Sales Team in Spain, the Western Europe Customer Team in Paris, and the Regional Marketing Team in Switzerland. The ideal candidate should enjoy working in a complex environment, demonstrate a high sense of ownership, and communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders, including remote teams.
The responsibilities include translating the Regional Category Strategy into the Spanish market, developing a commercial plan for various channels and customers, managing the equity and price budgets, and being accountable for Net Sales, Delivered Profit, and Market Shares. This position is focused on Trade Marketing, not consumer marketing or advertising campaigns.
RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Manage Net Sales, Delivered Profit, and Market Shares within Spain;
2. Translate regional strategies into channel and customer-specific plans;
3. Identify shopper insights and develop actionable plans to enhance point-of-sale effectiveness;
4. Develop and manage annual equity and pricing budgets;
5. Design and implement promotional strategies;
6. Support the Associate Manager in developing pricing strategies;
7. Assist in building accurate forecasts through the local S&OP process;
8. Create trade presentations utilizing regional materials;
9. Develop tailored growth plans for key customers, leveraging assortment, promotions, merchandising, and marketing activations;
10. Collaborate with the category manager to present innovation reviews to major customers.
REQUIREMENTS
* Master's degree in Business or an equivalent university degree;
* 3-4 years of experience in Trade/Customer Marketing, Category Management, or Sales;
* Fluent in English (written and spoken);
* Willing to be fully mobile, both short and long term;
* Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint and Excel;
* Experience in FMCG or retail is a plus;
* Experience with market data/panels (e.g., AC Nielsen) is a plus;
* Ability to navigate ambiguity and work in complex environments;
* Results-driven with initiative and speed;
* Strong presentation and analytical skills;
* Excellent organizational and planning skills, with the ability to multi-task and prioritize;
* Team player capable of building relationships across functions and levels, even remotely.
