Our large-scale, carbon-neutral battery manufacturing project contributes to the European electrification ecosystem and supports the regional supply chain for battery production.
Strategically located next to the Stellantis Plant in Zaragoza, Spain, the Gigafactory will produce next-generation lithium iron phosphate (LFP) batteries with a capacity of up to 50 GWh.

We are looking for a
Plant Safety and Security Engineer
, who will ensure the company's protection through the development and implementation of access control and surveillance systems. This role acts as a key interface between the organization and security-related entities.
Your main responsibilities will be:
* Developing and implementing access control systems and surveillance services for the Gigafactory.
* Writing and developing detailed physical security design requirements and standards.
* Providing on-going assessment of current safety and security policies, protocols and guidelines, consulting with senior leadership.
* Reporting security breaches, security-related events and deviations from the applicable regulations to de respective Local Organization and to other relevant parties.
* Defining and maintaining all security controls and assess their effectiveness. Making recommendations for improvements on this front.
* Overseeing tenders and performance of security guard services, including inspections, lessons learned, etc.
* Analyzing and working effectively with stakeholders such as project and event managers to make decisions regarding physical security and guarding for different events.
* Being responsible for the Plant Safety and Security Subdepartment and supervising a small internal Team and external physical security team.
* Promoting awareness among employees and management and supporting other functions in connection with security-related matters.
* Coordinating communication with the authorities and apply the relevant legal regulations.
Your profile and qualifications:
* Bachelor's or Master's Degree in a field related to Security.
* Must hold the certificate that qualifies the candidate as a suitable professional to be a Security Director by the Ministerio del Interior.
* Good level of English, minimum B2.
* At least 3 years of experience in a similar role with management experience.
* Availability to work on-site at our facilities based in Figueruelas (Zaragoza)
