IQU R&D provides solutions and services in internet and telecommunications for companies and institutions involved in information and communication technologies across commercial, marketing, management, and business communication sectors.
The company's R&D focuses on creating a new generation of tools for system-level evaluation of wireless integrated communication systems, supporting society's digital transformation. It has expertise in network/RAN virtualization, programmable networks, network slicing, cell-free architectures, Artificial Intelligence, and IoT applications.
IQU offers well-established experimentation tools in 5G and IoT and actively participates in EU-funded research projects related to 5G, 6G, Smart Grid, and IoT, collaborating with major European vendors and operators.
The R&D department seeks a researcher for H2020 and Horizon Europe projects. The role involves analytical evaluation of solutions, proof of concepts on in-house platforms, and working with advanced technologies.
The successful candidate should hold a PhD in Telecommunications, Electronic Engineering, or Computer Science and will be responsible for:
* Conducting research on Network Slicing, 5G/6G Network and Service management, Zero Touch Networks, and Data-Driven Communications using AI/ML.
* Engaging with cutting-edge technology validated on experimental platforms.
* Participating in challenging R&D projects and representing the company in meetings and research initiatives.
* Contributing to research funding proposals.
* Presenting at scientific conferences and representing IQU at industry exhibitions like Mobile World Congress, IoT Solutions World Congress, and Smart Cities Expo.
