As a key player within the Performance Marketing team, the Senior SEM Specialist will drive profitable growth across all Exoticca geographies by owning and evolving high-impact, data-driven search marketing programs. You’ll bring deep technical and strategic expertise to lead the planning, execution, and continuous improvement of SEM initiatives across Google and Microsoft Ads. You will manage the day-to-day operations of the channel, coordinating with a team member with an operational background, in alignment with the Manager of the area.This role is ideal for a strong SEM professional with a solid ownership mindset, expert knowledge of automation and bidding strategies, and a passion for testing and optimization. You will collaborate cross-functionally with Data, Product, and Sales teams to develop scalable solutions that improve CAC, LTV, and overall marketing efficiency.Main Responsibilities
Own execution and management of multi-country SEM campaigns across Google and Microsoft Ads, ensuring performance meets acquisition and ROI targets.Report and present results to stakeholders, explaining trends and proposing actions.Implement and optimize AI-driven bidding strategies and automation to scale campaigns.Collaborate with Martech and Data teams to design and import custom conversion values, offline events, and predictive signals.Drive automation in campaign creation, reporting, and performance monitoring using scripts, SA360, or other platforms.Identify testing opportunities, design A/B tests, and operationalize learnings.Work with creative teams to improve ad assets based on performance data.Plan quarterly SEM growth strategies and define roadmaps to meet business targets.Partner with platform reps to stay ahead of new features and programs.Align SEM efforts with wider projects like landing page UX, feed optimization, and CRM signals.Requirements
5+ years of hands-on SEM experience managing large-scale campaigns with 6–7 figure budgets across international markets.Proven expertise in Google and Microsoft Ads, including Performance Max, smart bidding, and custom audiences.Experience with other Performance Channels (Social Ads, Display) is a plus.Automation experience using scripts, SA360, Google Ads API, and integrating offline data.Understanding of performance measurement, experimentation, and data analysis.Experience with analytics tools (Google Analytics, Looker, Tableau) and advanced Excel skills.Data-driven mindset, capable of exploring datasets and translating insights into actions.Fluent in English and Spanish, with excellent communication skills.Experience in the travel industry is a plus but not essential.Proactive, curious about emerging marketing technologies (AI, automation, predictive modeling).Benefits and Work Environment
