We are seeking an Accounting and Reporting Controller to join our Finance and Administration team at Applus+IDIADA. This is an excellent opportunity for a finance professional with audit background to develop their career in a dynamic, international environment while contributing to financial excellence and ERP transformation.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support monthly and quarterly closing processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards
- Drive the implementation and optimization of reporting in the new ERP system, including process design, testing, and continuous improvement
- Prepare and review financial statements and management reports for internal and external stakeholders
- Act as key liaison with external auditors during interim and year-end audits, coordinating deliverables and documentation
- Ensure compliance with Spanish GAAP (PGC) and support IFRS reporting requirements xsgfvud for group consolidation
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or related field
- Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Auditing is highly valued
- Additional certifications (e.g., ACCA, CPA) are a plus
Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in audit (Big 4 experience preferred)
- Strong knowledge of Spanish Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (PGC)
Language Skills
- English: Advanced level required (C1 or equivalent)
- German: Any level is highly valued
- Additional languages are a plus
