About the Role:
We are seeking an Investor Relations Associate to join our Investor Relations team. The role is designed to support all elements of the fundraising, investor relations and business development processes. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in fostering strong relationships with our investors, ensuring transparency and effective communication, and supporting our fundraising efforts. This role is a critical hire on our team and offers potential for substantial exposure and professional development. The role requires knowledge of private markets and investor relations with outstanding project management skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Investor Relations & Business Development Execution (≈70%)
* Own the development and ongoing maintenance of investor-facing content, including fund and corporate presentations, pitchbooks, fundraising materials and standardized reporting templates.
* Lead the execution of investor communications and touchpoints, coordinating the preparation of materials for investor meetings, events, webinars, conferences and the firm's annual investor meeting, in close collaboration with senior stakeholders.
* Update public-facing marketing platforms (e.g., website, social media channels) and coordinate press releases with our communication agency.
* Responsibility for updating online consultant platforms and third-party databases with firm and investment information and ensure consistency and accuracy of data used across all marketing and investor-facing materials.
* Support business development initiatives through market research, benchmarking and peer analysis.
* Coordination of investor profiling and analysis of LP databases.
* Data room preparation and maintenance.
Sales & Investor-Facing Activities (≈30%)
* Support ongoing relationships with existing investors, including meeting preparation, follow-up and responses to information requests.
* Coordinate and participate in meetings and follow-ups with existing and prospective investors.
* Support capital raising efforts across different investor segments, in Spain and internationally.
* Maintain an up-to-date CRM system that includes investor activity reporting.
Candidate Profile:
Experience
* 4–5 years of relevant experience, ideally in:
* Big 4 (Transaction Services, Advisory, Valuations)
* Strategy or financial consulting
* Investment banking
* Investor relations
* Wealth / Private Banking or asset management
Education
* Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Engineering or similar.
* Master's degree in Finance or related field is a plus.
Skills
* Strong financial and analytical background.
* Advanced PowerPoint skills (executive-level presentations).
* Solid Excel proficiency.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, both in Spanish and English. xohynlm
