Ob Opportunity: Medical Doctor / Psychiatrist – Residential Addiction Clinic
Is a private residential treatment centre specialising in addiction, mental health, and medical detoxification, located on the Costa del Sol, Sotogrande(Málaga, Spain). We provide an integrated and patient-centred approach, combining medical care, therapeutic intervention, and holistic programmes within a fully licensed and confidential environment.
We are seeking a Medical Doctor and/or Psychiatrist to join our clinical team, providing medical oversight, psychiatric assessments, and supervision of the nursing team.
Key Responsibilities
* Medical and/or psychiatric assessments of residential patients
* Ongoing clinical reviews and treatment adjustments
* Medical supervision of detoxification and stabilisation processes
* Close collaboration with the onsite nursing team
* Clinical decision-making in line with established protocols
Essential Language Requirement
* Fluent English is essential and mandatory for this role
* Ability to communicate confidently with international patients, families, and clinical staff
* Additional languages are highly valued, as our client base is international and predominantly from across Europe
Financial Package
* 12 hours per week (48 hours per month): €1,200 per month
* Additional assessments outside contracted hours:
* €125 per assessment
* Approx. 4 assessments per week
* Up to €2,000 extra per month
* Management and monitoring of online medical software & nursing team (24/7):
* €1,000 per month
Total potential monthly remuneration: €4,200

Requirements
* Medical degree (MD or equivalent)
* Psychiatry specialty (preferred but not essential depending on role scope)
* Experience in addiction treatment, mental health, or detoxification (highly desirable)
* Fluent English (mandatory)
* Additional European languages highly advantageous
* Strong communication and digital skills
