This job is open to both internal and external candidates to the Iveco Group.
Iveco Group is seeking a Customization Engineer to join our Customization and Specialties team at the R&D center in Madrid. The role will be responsible for managing customization requests from the different markets and for defining with the Engineering team the best solutions.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
* Development of specific solutions for special customers from the initial concept to the final production and management of the technical documentation in terms of BOM (Bill of Materials), 3D models and drawings.
* Management of the technical agreement authorizations.
* Give Support to define the technical documentation for tenders.
* Technical agreement management for major customers
* Preparation of technical documentation for minor customization projects.
* Project and test planning management according to the DVP (Design Validation Plan)
REQUIREMENTS
* Degree in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering.
* 4+ years of experience as a Product Development Engineer.
* Expertise in product development methodology and BOM.
* Knowledge on simulation and testing methodology.
* Knowledge on customer applications for heavy commercial vehicles.
* Problem solving approach and ability to react and provide potential solutions based on information.
* Knowledge of European Regulation and ability to deploy their requirements into technical solutions.
* Proven skills in CATIA V5 or similar and in PLM TEAMCENTER.
* B2 level of spoken and written English (Italian as a plus).
* Excellent Office domain (Excel in particular).
* Key soft skills: analytical, customer orientation, problem solving, organization, creative thinking and result orientation.
