Precision for Medicine is hiring a Senior / Principal Clinical Database Manager to join our team. Candidates can work remotely in the following locations: UK, Spain, Hungary, Poland, Romania, Serbia, or Slovakia.
Position Summary
The Senior / Principal Clinical Database Manager is responsible for designing, developing, testing, implementing, maintaining, and supporting clinical databases and applications. The role involves interfacing with internal teams (Data Management, Project Management, etc.), EDC vendors, clients, and third-party vendors to gather requirements and provide updates. The manager provides operational and technical training to end users and junior staff. Additionally, the manager may lead internal software projects requiring specialized programming and scripting.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
1. Experience in developing and customizing clinical data management databases in a clinical, scientific, or healthcare discipline.
2. Bachelor’s degree and/or relevant experience.
3. Medidata Rave EDC Certified Study Builder.
4. Experience with Rave Advanced Custom Function programming.
Other Requirements:
1. Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
2. Ability to handle various clinical research tasks.
3. Excellent organizational and communication skills.
4. Professional proficiency in English, both written and oral.
5. Understanding of CDISC standards (CDASH, SDTM, ADaM, etc.).
6. Experience in clinical database management system development.
7. Experience in a clinical, scientific, or healthcare discipline.
8. Experience with various clinical database management systems.
9. Broad knowledge of drug, device, and biologic development and data management practices.
10. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
11. Effective communication in English.
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Oncology and/or Orphan Drug therapeutic experience.
2. Experience with Base SAS, SAS/STAT, and SAS/ACCESS software.
3. Advanced experience in database management and object-oriented programming.
4. Veeva setup experience.
