In our International Purchasing Departament called Eureca we are looking forward to an International Seniro Tax Advisor who will be the responsible for the strategic management and supervision of national and international taxation for Eureca Mayoristas and Eureca Trading (the "Companies").
The primary mission is to ensure full tax compliance across multiple jurisdictions, ensure the adequacy and fairness of the tax contribution, and mitigate tax risks in strict accordance with evolving international legislation.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Tax Compliance & Cash-Flow Improvement
* Ensure timely compliance with all tax obligations, with a primary focus on VAT across all jurisdictions and complex international operations.
* Improve Cash-Flow through proactive management of tax credits, ensuring the swift filing and effective recovery of VAT refund claims worldwide.
Strategic Support & Expertise
* Serve as the internal tax expert, providing high-level support to the Accounting and Legal departments on all tax-related inquiries.
* Monitor legislative changes in national and international tax law, assessing their impact and leading the necessary operational evolutions.
* Oversee Transfer Pricing, ensuring the correct implementation and documentation of policies in alignment with Group standards.
Stakeholder Coordination & Representation
* Lead relations with Tax Authorities and manage interactions with external advisors regarding audits, inspections, and formal requirements.
* Align local strategies with Group HQ, ensuring all actions reflect global tax policies and guidelines.
* Act as the lead tax interlocutor for negotiations with customers, suppliers, and international partners, specifically regarding tax clauses.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Education & Experience
* Academic Background: Bachelor's degree in Law or Business Administration (Double degree preferred).
* Specialization: Master's Degree in Tax Consultancy.
* Professional Experience: 6+ years as an in-house Tax Manager or similar, with deep expertise in Indirect Tax (Advisory, Accounting, and Systems). Experience in the Retail industry is a significant asset.
Technical & Hard Skills (VAT focus)
* System Setup: Ability to advise on invoicing, compliance obligations, and system requirements for multiple VAT-registered entities.
* Supply Chain Mastery: Expert capacity to navigate complex international supply chain flows and operational deals.
* Audit Resolution: Proven track record of resolving VAT issues under audit in multiple EU jurisdictions.
Languages & Soft Skills
* English: Level C2 or Bilingual (Essential). Professional mastery is required for reporting, documentation, and international negotiations.
* French: Professional proficiency is considered an asset.
* Mindset: Team player with a proactive and \"can-do\" attitude, highly organized, and capable of solving complex problems involving multiple stakeholders.
