Demand PlannerWe are looking for a Demand Planner to work in a multinational company. Its products and services are designed to benefit people and improve their quality of life.Purpose:Demand Planner leads forecast management process for defined countries by being part of commercial insights development and business plan integration into the S&OP process in order to build the consensus forecast. Has overall responsibility for ensuring robustness of content and consistency in execution, driving alignment of the financial and operational business plans and facilitating continuous improvement to the process in alignment with global standards.Key Responsibilities Support building the consensus demand forecasts for all Consumer Health (CH) Products Prepare and study on consolidated unconstrained demand forecast suggestions before demand review meetings by using historical data, market insights in company data base or dashboards and also using statistical forecasts as an input. Use statistical demand planning digital tool as an advanced user and regularly perform maintenance of the system and monthly data updates in this digital tool. Prepare and facilitate demand review process and foster consensus between Marketing, Sales, Trade Marketing, Business Intelligence, Finance and Product Supply. Challenge volume and value forecasts with analytics of historic developments, market trend and up to date market insights. Run scenario planning with: Defining supply risks with product supply team and driving discussion on how to manage gaps and potentially fill gaps with other available products. Defining demand risk and opportunities based on refreshing market insights. Ensure the rolling 12-month consensus demand rolling forecast at SKU level and the long term (36-60 month) aggregated forecast for strategic exercises (i.e. financial budget). After demand reviews identify gaps and changes vs. last cycle. Be part of S&OP meetings and share the holistic demand planning picture with country commercial head and commercial stakehollders, if there are any escalation points or action needed topics, also open them into discussions during S&OP meetings.Performance Management Ensure the enhancement of the forecast quality by tracking the major demand planning KPI’s (FCA, BIAS, Statistical Forecast usage, Write off, Inventory, CFR) and monitoring global dashboards for measurements. Guide the decision for stock allocations (for Supply bottlenecks) by comparing forecast data by SKU and customer/channel/country. Monitor expiry dates and develop joint mitigation actions with commercial to minimize write off risks. Actively support product launches and phase out by participating in launch meetings and providing forecasts inc. pipefill and phase out activities.
