My client is looking for a Power Electronics Engineer, who will develop and optimise high‑voltage converters for advanced electric propulsion systems. This is an on‑site role, based in Madrid.
Responsibilities
* Design and optimise switched‑mode power supplies and high‑voltage circuits
* Simulate, analyse, and improve thermal and EMC performance. Test and qualify components
* Design multilayer PCBs
* Testing and building prototypes
* Produce technical reports and cross‑functionally work across teams
Must Haves
* 5+ years' experience in power electronics design
* Master's degree in Power Electronics or a related field
* Expertise in SMPS, high‑voltage, and thermal/EMC design
* Proficiency with Altium Designer
* Skilled in SMD soldering, debugging, and testing
* Familiar with coding languages e.g. C/C++, Matlab
