Your Role

This new role, Manager of Business Development and Strategic Growth, is a key position on the team responsible for driving revenue growth by building and managing strategic partnerships and identifying and vetting new business opportunities. You will foster relationships with key stakeholders, identify and close new deals, and provide strategic direction for critical business lines.

You’ll thrive if you are proactive, analytical, and capable of navigating cross-functional initiatives and communicating with stakeholders across departments. You should be comfortable operating in a fast-moving environment with ambiguity and taking initiative to drive clarity and action.


Your Qualifications

Core Requirements

* Experience in a business development and partnerships ecosystem.
* Demonstrable track record of closing complex new business and partnership deals.
* Experience in the SaaS, domains, or hosting industry with understanding of subscription and partner-driven revenue models.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with ability to plan and align stakeholders.
* Experience in business and Go-To-Market analytics around LTV, CAC, ecommerce, and sales funnel analytics.
* Experience managing complex, cross-functional initiatives.
* Executive presence with strong analytical, organizational, and partner management skills.
* Ability to thrive in ambiguity and drive clarity and action in fast-moving environments.
* A deep interest in the evolving AI landscape and a pragmatic approach to AI strategy.

Preferred Qualifications

* Relevant degree in business fields or an applied science.
* Prior experience in hosting, domain, or SaaS businesses.


Your Impact In The First 180 Days

Here’s what success looks like in your first 6 months:

* 30 Days: Get onboarded, familiarize yourself with WebPros brands and product ecosystem (cPanel, Plesk, WHMCS), and begin building relationships with key internal stakeholders.
* 60 Days: Take ownership of existing strategic partnerships, identify growth opportunities, and conduct exploratory analysis for new opportunities in revenue and partnerships.
* 120 Days: Successfully negotiate and close your first new business or partnership deal. Provide strategic direction for a critical business line and present findings to senior leadership.
* 180 Days: Drive measurable revenue growth through new and existing partnerships, aiming for over $100K in Annual Recurring Revenue. Act as a strategic advisor to GTM leadership and begin defining a pragmatic AI adoption roadmap for GTM functions.


How We Work

Team & Workflow: This is an individual contributor role within the Business Development team, reporting to the VP, Business Development & Go-To-Market Strategy. The team works remotely and collaborates across departments.

Collaboration & Ownership: Success requires cross-functional leadership and change management with Product, Finance, Marketing, and Legal.

Work Processes: A typical week involves meetings and focused work, with updates to stakeholders and executives. Team rituals include daily stand-ups, weekly team meetings, and Quarterly Business Reviews.
