Role Description
The Data & Tools Specialist defines the data and tool landscape and roadmap for demand management & generation. This role ensures that account and contact data meet high quality standards and that existing and new tools meet business requirements according to global and regional guidelines. The specialist will also define campaign support services and processes based on this foundation and orchestrate service delivery.
The candidate should have an innovative mindset, capable of applying it to solve day-to-day problems in data and tool usage. A deep understanding of end-to-end demand management & generation processes is necessary to suggest improvements and drive innovation.
About the team
SAP’s fastest growth areas are Corporate and Digital, especially in the Cloud. Our goal is to increase SAP's market share in the midmarket and scale Demand Generation and Sales efforts with digital modalities. The Demand Intelligence Team (DIT) supports our Demand Management & Sales Development teams by providing data, tools, and processes to engage prospects effectively, analyze results, and improve continuously. We are an international, diverse, and dynamic team based in SAP’s Barcelona Digital Hub, fostering a multicultural and innovative environment.
Expectations and Responsibilities
In collaboration with team members, responsibilities include:
* Defining the data & tool landscape and roadmap for demand management & generation
* Providing 1st level support for tools and change management via user and stakeholder communities
* Driving data and tool innovation aligned with business and compliance needs
* Managing projects related to data, tools, and technology, including planning, implementation, rollout, and adoption
* Continuously improving data quality
* Serving as the SPOC for third-party data, tool, or service providers
* Standardizing and improving data and tool usage in demand management and execution
* Designing and orchestrating campaign support services by Digital Demand Associates (DDAs)
Preferred Experience, Skills, and Behaviors
* Based in Barcelona, Spain (mandatory). Only candidates already located in Spain will be considered.
* Fluent in English (mandatory); additional EMEA languages are a plus
* University degree in Business Administration, IT, Digital Transformation, or similar
* 2-3 years of professional experience in B2B demand generation, sales, or sales operations
* Experience with customer segmentation, profiling, and engagement tools (e.g., Modelyzr, Crystal Record, D&B Hoovers, ZoomInfo, Outreach)
* Experience in market analysis, enablement & adoption programs, and project management
* Interest in data, tools, and new technologies
* Growth mindset: curious, agile, execution-driven, capable of working independently and in teams
* Business acumen: customer-focused, excellent communicator, stakeholder prioritization skills
