Position: Test Manager (Project Test Engineer).
This role is part of Airbus CRISA (Airbus Defense & Space) focusing on Space business areas such as Launchers (Ariane6, Vega‑C, Vega‑E), Earth Exploration, Space Exploration, and Commercial satellites.
Responsibilities
* Shape the future based on innovation of our products, new technologies and ways of working.
* State‑of‑the‑art product consolidation.
* Continuous performance improvement.
* Establish a test strategy to verify that electronic units meet customer requirements, in accordance with project schedule, cost and quality.
* Act as the responsible for the verification of design and manufacturing of the unit.
* Supervise the activities of the test engineering team for validation of the flight unit.
* Participate in technical discussions with the customer during the negotiation phase and through flight operations.
* Assist the Project Manager in requirement assessment and risk identification.
* Collaborate with Technical Manager to define the architecture of the Flight Unit and EGSE.
* Support technical issue resolution with stakeholders under quality and programmatic rules.
* Document and report design validation through Verification Control Documents, Test Procedures and Reports.
* Support test engineers during integration, qualification and acceptance campaigns, including tooling development.
* Monitor deviations, evolutions and discrepancies during the recurrent phase of the project.
* Ensure agreed verification hours are met.
* Build customer trust through proactive and continuous support.
Required Skills
* Master’s degree (or equivalent) in engineering or science.
* At least five years of validation and verification experience for electronic units.
* Negotiation‑level English and Spanish, written and spoken.
* Technical excellence and challenge spirit.
* Digital mindset: automation, scripting, digital design tools and simulators.
* Excellent communication and reporting skills.

Recommended Skills
* Knowledge of space environment constraints and European space regulations (ESCC, SMD, etc.).
* Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
* Technical knowledge of advanced test instrumentation for testing automation.
