Job Description
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Business development of Crop Sciences GEP activities in Europe
* Sales and customer contract development
* Key account management as required
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
* Lead sales and development activities
* Identify existing and future market opportunities
* Approach all sector customers and potential clients
* Lead European GEP business focus
* Attend industry events to promote SGS services
* Promote the company's image, capability, and integrity to product-line customers
* Collaborate with the NR Marketing Manager on publicity materials and media tools
* Seek additional opportunities and offer new services to clients
* Find new business and increase revenue in this sector
* Innovate and improve service delivery methods
* Manage projects for clients requiring tailored services
* Coordinate with Crop Science Country Business Managers for consistent service delivery
* Work with International Sales/Business Development Managers for a unified global client approach
* Identify service gaps and collaborate on new opportunities and regional portfolio expansion
* Promote and implement new service innovations
* Develop regional strategies and business development programs
* Work with Study Directors, Technical Governance, and Country Business Managers on training and operational improvements
* Focus on client service solutions and voice of customer
* Manage key accounts as needed
* Serve as a primary contact point for clients
* Prepare customized service proposals with team support
* Standardize commercial approaches for regional key accounts
* Analyze and present statistical data and results to key accounts
* Represent the voice of the client within SGS
OTHER ACTIVITIES
Additional projects may be assigned by the Vice President - NR Agri Commodities / Crop Sciences.
Qualifications
PROFILE
* Over 10 years' experience in crop sciences, consultancy, or TIC industry commercial roles
* Degree or Master level education
* Proven track record in sales and business development
* Reputation as a collaborator with industry leaders
* Knowledge of GLP crop sciences operations and testing requirements
* Leadership and people management skills
REQUIRED SKILLS

* Proficiency in English; French, German, or Spanish beneficial
