Airbus Operations SL is offering the Airbus Global Graduate Programme (AGGP) 2026 for the role of RFE Airframe FDT Engineer. Start date: October 2026. What you will be doing
* On a development pathway to become an RFE Airframe FDT Engineer, with involvement in: analysing composite & hybrid structures for Fatigue and Damage Tolerance according to validated methods.
* Ensuring adherence to regulations, design principles, processes, methods and manufacturing capability guidelines.
* Defining, interpreting and validating tests; interfacing with relevant stakeholders.
* Providing input to design for manufacture and supporting other functions (e.g., production, customer support) as needed.
* Providing stress analysis for the repair / acceptance of damaged structures.
* Monitoring / guiding / supporting Sub-contracting firms providing structure analysis work.
* Working with typical tools and technologies such as Python, ISAMI, Hypermesh, NASGRO.
Your development pathway will include a minimum of one rotational placement to support growth into the position, with activities defined in the structure analysis function, including PET or Customer Support knowledge and FAL visits. At the end of the two-year programme you will be prepared for the RFE Airframe FDT Engineer role.
What we look for
* A degree or equivalent in Engineering / Aeronautical, Mechanical or Materials.
* Demonstrable interest in resolving technical issues; knowledge of Nastran, Hyperworks, Python is beneficial.
* Strong verbal and written communication in English.
* A desire to work in a collaborative team environment focused on driving future innovation.
* The ability to be self-aware and proactive in your development.
This position requires security clearance or eligibility for clearance by recognized authorities.
