We are seeking a dynamic and highly experienced Senior International Business Development Manager to spearhead global sales and strategic expansion initiatives for Tonbo Systems. The ideal candidate will have an extensive background in defense, security, and tactical solutions, with hands-on experience in operational environments. This role requires a deep understanding of modern defense and security challenges, a strong global network, and the ability to drive business growth through key partnerships and strategic engagements.
Location : Remote (Candidate may operate from USA, Europe, Middle East, or Asia Pacific)
Key Responsibilities
1. Global Business Development : Identify, pursue, and capture new business opportunities in defense, homeland security, and tactical markets across international regions.
2. Strategic Sales Execution : Lead the sales cycle from opportunity identification to contract closure, ensuring alignment with Tonbo’s strategic growth objectives.
3. Client & Partner Engagement : Establish and nurture strong relationships with international military, law enforcement agencies, government bodies, system integrators, and industry partners.
4. Operational Understanding : Leverage firsthand knowledge of defense and tactical operations to align Tonbo’s product offerings with real-world mission requirements.
5. Market Intelligence & Competitive Analysis : Stay abreast of global market dynamics, competitor activities, and advancements in defense technologies to refine business strategies.
6. Proposal Development & Contract Negotiation : Lead the creation of comprehensive technical and commercial proposals, ensuring competitive positioning and successful contract negotiations.
7. Cross-functional Collaboration : Work closely with engineering, product development, and marketing teams to ensure customer requirements are met with tailored solutions.
8. Regulatory Compliance : Ensure adherence to international export regulations, compliance standards, and ethical business practices.
Experience & Qualifications
1. Military / Defense Industry Experience : Minimum of 5+ years in international business development, sales, or operations within defense, security, or tactical domains. Prior military, special operations, or law enforcement background is highly preferred.
2. Proven Sales Track Record : Demonstrated success in securing and managing multi-million-dollar contracts with global defense and security organizations.
3. Technical Expertise : Strong understanding of optronics, thermal imaging, night vision, and advanced tactical technologies, with a focus on their application in real-world operations.
4. Global Market Knowledge : Deep familiarity with procurement processes, defense acquisition cycles, and operational requirements across key markets such as Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia-Pacific.
5. Exceptional Communication & Leadership : Ability to engage high-level stakeholders, present complex solutions clearly, and lead negotiations effectively.
