Who We Are

Berkeley, CA-based Terabase Energy is a venture-backed startup founded in 2019 by solar industry leaders as a result of a technology spin-out from SunPower Corporation. Our mission is to reduce the cost and accelerate the deployment of utility-scale solar through the digitalization of solar power plants.

To meet this goal, our strategy is twofold. Terabase is developing software and operational automation technologies aimed at streamlining the development, construction, and operational processes of solar projects. We work alongside project developers, owners, and engineering & construction firms to support the design, optimization, and construction of large-scale solar projects worldwide.

Based in Northern California with offices across the U.S. and globally, our team includes solar veterans, engineers, coders, product managers, and sales and marketing professionals. Position Overview

As a leading provider of innovative solar construction management solutions, Terabase seeks a Senior Sales Manager to lead market expansion in Europe. Based in the European Union, this role involves driving sales growth, building customer relationships, and developing strategic sales plans to enhance our presence in Europe.

What You’ll Do at Terabase:

* Lead sales of Terabase construction technologies to EPCs and IPPs in Europe.
* Develop and execute sales strategies to meet company targets in the European market.
* Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the solar construction sector in Europe.
* Build and maintain relationships with clients, partners, and industry influencers.
* Conduct market research on industry trends, competitors, and customer needs in Europe.
* Present and demonstrate our software solutions to potential clients, emphasizing benefits and value.
* Negotiate and close sales deals, ensuring customer satisfaction and long-term partnerships.
* Collaborate with marketing to develop promotional materials for Europe.
* Provide sales reports and forecasts to senior management.
* Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences for networking and promotion.
* Support market launch and commercialization of new products.
* Assist with market research and client engagement in the MENA region as needed.
* Support project management and operations during delivery, ensuring customer satisfaction.
* Build relationships with suppliers and contractors, negotiate contracts, and ensure efficient execution.
* Assist with cost estimates, expense tracking, and financial reporting.
* Manage key customer projects and their experience throughout the engagement.
* Represent customer perspectives in product development, support, and quality areas.

Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field.
* At least 5 years of B2B software sales experience, preferably in renewable energy or construction.
* Proven success in meeting or exceeding sales targets.
* Deep understanding of utility-scale solar and construction management processes.
* Ability to sell technical products; engineering background or technical aptitude preferred.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
* Customer-focused with a consultative approach.
* Ability to work independently and in teams.
* Proficiency in CRM and Microsoft Office.
* Willingness to travel within Europe and occasionally to MENA.
* Fluent in English; additional European languages are a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

* Project management experience in renewable energy construction.
* Knowledge of photogrammetry and drone image processing software such as Pix4D, Agisoft Metashape, ODM, DroneDeploy, ArcGIS, etc.
