This role sits within ABB’s Robotics business, a leading global robotics company. We’re entering an exciting new chapter as SoftBank Group will acquire ABB Robotics. This Position Reports To
Marketing & Sales Manager
Your Role And Responsibilities
Working within the Autonomous Mobile Robotics GSC, the Business Developer Industries creates, implements, and updates the business strategy for industries (General Industries, Consumer Industries, and Logistics) accounts and partners in coordination with the ABB Robotics Sales Manager.
In this role, you will coordinate sales activities, create added value for the customer and ABB, and focus on increasing market share, profitability and customer satisfaction. You’ll help run what runs the world by taking on meaningful work that drives real impact in the AGVs/AMRs business inside the Robotics division.
Leading the development and implementation of the business strategy, including account plans and growth actions.
Evaluation and prioritization of accounts.
Defining sales targets for the accounts and ensuring they are achieved with a structured follow‑up process across countries and sales teams.
Driving constant dialogue with the different ABB country sales teams.
Monitoring competitor activity and ensuring appropriate action is taken given market feedback to the organization and product feedback to Product Management.
Contributing to the creation of Combined Solutions (Robotics + AMRs) by feeding market knowledge and customer demands.

Qualifications For The Role
More than 10 years of experience in Sales, working as Key Account Manager, Business Developer or Industry Manager with automation and technology products in the reference market.
Demonstrated experience in managing customer accounts and sales strategy.
Knowledge of manufacturing processes in several industries such as metals, plastics, electronics and others.
A collaborative, solution‑focused approach, with strong communication and customer relationship‑building skills.
University degree and training in Engineering or a related field.
Fluent in English.
