Scopely is looking for a Lead Community Strategist to join our Monopoly Go! Team on a Hybrid basis in Culver City, Barcelona or London!
As a Lead Community Strategist, you will shape how community insight informs product development and future seasonal strategy. This is a senior, product‑facing role at the intersection of Community, Product, and LiveOps, focused on bringing the player voice into feature development and future seasonal planning.
What You Will Do
* Lead and Evolve Ambassador & Feedback Programs
o Own and scale ambassador and player feedback initiatives to ensure continuous, high‑quality insight generation
o Design and manage structured feedback systems (e.g., surveys, testing cohorts, focus groups)
o Ensure feedback is consistent, actionable, and aligned with business needs
o Translate player sentiment into clear, data‑informed insights for product and leadership teams
* Drive Community with Product Integration
o Act as the voice of the community in product and feature discussions
o Partner closely with game teams to embed player insights into roadmap and feature prioritization
o Identify and advocate for community‑driven opportunities that enhance player experience and engagement
* Define and Lead Community Strategy
o Establish the long‑term community vision and direction across upcoming seasons
o Identify key player‑facing opportunities and high‑impact “big bets”
o Build and implement structured strategic frameworks to guide community planning and execution
* Partner on Seasonal Planning
o Collaborate with the Senior Community Manager and channel owners to shape seasonal direction
o Provide strategic input that aligns community initiatives with product and marketing priorities
o Ensure cross‑functional alignment across community, product, and marketing for each season
* Deliver Executive‑Level Strategic Communication
o Develop clear, concise, and executive‑ready strategy documents and presentations
o Distill complex data, feedback, and inputs into actionable insights and recommendations
o Communicate priorities, trade‑offs, and opportunities effectively to senior stakeholders
* Collaborate Cross‑Functionally
o Partner with Product, LiveOps, CRM, Marketing, and Community teams to drive a unified strategy
o Contribute to a shared planning and execution process across functions
o Foster alignment and ensure community insights are embedded across the player lifecycle
What We’re Looking For
* 5+ years’ experience in community, DevRel, or product‑facing community roles, ideally within a live‑service or fast‑paced environment
* Experience working cross‑functionally with product, design, or LiveOps teams, with exposure to feature or roadmap discussions
* Proven experience building or managing community programs such as ambassador programs, feedback loops, or player testing groups
* Strong ability to translate player feedback and community sentiment into structured insights and actionable recommendations
* Demonstrated strategic thinking, with experience shaping plans, frameworks, or initiatives beyond day‑to‑day execution
* Ability to identify opportunities for player‑driven innovation and community impact within a product
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to produce clear, concise, executive‑ready materials
* Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to align multiple teams and influence without authority
* High level of autonomy and ownership, with the ability to operate effectively in ambiguous, fast‑moving environments
* Strong attention to detail and judgment, particularly when working on high‑visibility initiatives
* Experience in live‑service games or similar player‑driven environments
* Familiarity with survey tools, analytics platforms, or community tooling
Salary and Benefits
For candidates in CA, CO, NJ, NY, and WA, the annual salary range is $118,000 - $146,000 USD. In addition to base pay, employees may be eligible for equity, bonuses, and a comprehensive benefits package, including healthcare benefits, retirement benefits, pet insurance, paid holidays, paid Scopely free days, and unlimited paid time off.
