We are looking for a Software Engineer with strong experience in automation, web platforms, and technical SEO to help build scalable solutions that improve website performance, search visibility, and operational efficiency.
This role sits at the intersection of software engineering, platform automation, and SEO engineering, working closely with product, content, and SEO teams.
Role OverviewYou will be responsible for building automation workflows, internal platforms, and technical solutions that enhance SEO performance and web operations. The role combines backend development, automation engineering, and technical SEO implementation.
Main Responsibilities:Automation & Platform EngineeringDesign and implement automation workflows for web operationsBuild internal tools and services to standardize processesDevelop scripts, pipelines, and services integrating APIs, crawlers, and analytics platformsEnable self-service capabilities through internal toolingSEO EngineeringTranslate SEO best practices into scalable technical solutionsBuild systems to monitor Core Web Vitals, indexing, and search visibilityIntegrate platforms such as Google Search Console and analytics toolsCollaborate with SEO and content teams to implement improvementsWeb Performance & ObservabilityImplement automated checks for performance, accessibility, and SEO complianceMonitor KPIs and develop dashboards and alertsImprove page speed, rendering strategies, and UX performance metricsCollaborationWork with engineers, SEO specialists, product teams, and content stakeholdersParticipate in architecture discussions and technical decisionsContribute to tooling, documentation, and engineering standards
Required ExperienceMust have5+ years of experience in Software EngineeringExperience working with web platforms or large-scale websitesProven experience building automation tools, scripts, or internal platformsHands-on experience with technical SEO in production environmentsTechnical SkillsProgramming & EngineeringStrong programming skills in JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, or similarExperience building APIs, backend services, and automation pipelinesExperience with web crawling, scraping, or data extraction
