We are supporting a leading cyber security business in the search for a T1 SOC Analyst to join their team on a 12-month freelance contract based in Madrid .
This is an excellent opportunity for a security professional with strong SOC monitoring experience and German language skills to work in a fast-paced, international environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Monitor and analyse security alerts and events within the SOC
* Perform initial triage and investigation of security incidents
* Escalate threats and suspicious activity in line with internal processes
* Support incident response activities and follow-up actions
* Maintain accurate documentation of alerts, incidents, and remediation steps
* Work closely with internal teams to ensure timely resolution of security issues
Required Experience
* Previous experience in a Tier 1 / T1 SOC Analyst position
* Good understanding of security monitoring, SIEM tools, and incident handling
* Ability to investigate and assess alerts in a structured way
* Strong communication skills and attention to detail
* Comfortable working in a fast-moving security operations environment
* German language skills are essential
* English language skills required
