Role overview
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Software Engineer to join KIME’s core engineering team. You will work hands-on on our AI-powered marketing analytics platform, building and scaling product features using a modern, production-ready tech stack.
This is an onsite role based in Madrid, working closely with the founders and early team in a fast-moving startup environment.
Tech stack
You will work primarily with:
* Backend: Node.Js, TypeScript
* Frontend: React, TypeScript
* Database: PostgreSQL
* AI & LLM integrations: OpenAI, Anthropic, Perplexity, and other emerging LLM APIs
* Infrastructure: Cloud-based
Responsibilities
* Build, maintain, and scale core platform features using Node.Js, TypeScript, and React
* Integrate and optimize workflows using LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Perplexity, etc.)
* Collaborate with product and design to translate requirements into high-quality solutions
* Improve system performance, reliability, and security
* Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code
* Participate in architectural discussions and technical decision-making
* Contribute to engineering best practices and code reviews
Required qualifications
* 3+ years of experience as a Software Engineer
* Strong experience with TypeScript and modern Node.Js backend development or equivalent web technologies
* Experience building frontend applications with React
* Experience working with APIs and data-driven systems is a plus
* Interest in AI-powered products and LLM-based workflows
* Ability to work onsite in Copenhagen and collaborate closely with a small team
* Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset
