Position Overview
Sponsored projects to develop new performance features and site-specific wind turbine tailoring require extensive load calculations.
Responsibilities
1. Review certification requirements for converter and control cabinets across wind, solar, and battery markets.
2. Define testing procedures to meet certification standards.
3. Design, adapt, and operate test rigs for validation and certification tests.
4. Define instrumentation, install, and gather data.
5. Attend external laboratories for specific certification tests.
6. Generate test reports.
7. Support manufacturing test benches.
8. Assist in production and field troubleshooting.
9. Participate in converter validation to ensure compliance with design requirements in cooperation with the design team.
10. Follow quality processes during testing.
11. Collaborate with other teams for presales, commissioning, and aftersales support.
12. This role may require travel to customer and non-customer sites (up to 30%).
13. Participation in validation processes at Madrid test benches is required in person.
Candidate Profile
We seek individuals passionate about renewable energy and leading change. Candidates should have:
* Technical engineering background in electronics or electrical engineering.
* Knowledge of power electronics, testing instrumentation, and certification standards.
* Minimum 3 years of experience in testing and validation of power electronics for renewable energy.
* Experience in system analysis, diagnosis, and problem-solving during commissioning.
* Fluency in Spanish and English (minimum B2 level).
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
* Optional: Python and MATLAB knowledge.
