Position Overview
This home-based role in Europe involves expanding our global client base by encouraging connections to our API. Responsibilities include new business development, account management, and client relationship management at all levels, with a focus on tour operators, DMCs, and bedbanks.
Key Responsibilities
* Focus on acquiring new business and achieving sales targets both individually and as part of a team.
* Engage with clients mainly through email, phone, and virtual meetings; some travel may be required.
* Visit clients and prospects as needed.
* Close new sales opportunities continuously.
* Coordinate with Finance, Connection, and Operations teams to ensure a smooth client experience.
* Manage client acquisition from registration to booking with diligent follow-up.
* Deliver compelling sales presentations to secure new business.
* Plan visits and analyze sales data.
* Support client communication and relay feedback to head office for improvements.
* Provide weekly and monthly reports.
* Maintain and update CRM daily.
* Implement company strategies and directives.
Candidate Profile
Candidates should have at least 5 years of field sales experience in the travel industry, preferably with API knowledge. An excellent sales record can compensate for fewer years of experience. Preference given to those with API sales experience or similar backgrounds, extensive market contacts, and fluency in English; additional languages are a plus. Candidates should be results-driven, technologically savvy, organized, resourceful, dynamic, and flexible to travel nationally and internationally. Strong communication and presentation skills are essential.
